How to detect polarized lenses

Quick 3-step guide to check if your sunglasses are actually polarized

1. Grab your pair of sunglasses and put it in front of a monitor.
2. Rotate it 90 degrees.
3. If the lens tint gradually turns lighter, then your lenses are polarized.
